Last night I went out to dinner with unicornflower and two of his flatmates to Maykadeh Persian Restaurant at 470 Green corner of Grant, after a pleasurable segway tour there we had some amazing food, I started off with the Dolma which was quite tasty but not spectacular, unicornflower had some really nice lamb tongue.

Main course for me was the chicken fesenjoo which is chicken in a pomegranate/walnut mud which was absolutely heaven, it would have been perfect if the chicken had been a bit more tender.

The lamb shank and the sturgeon were also very good, but not close to the pomegranate/walnut mixture.

$40 per person with a generous tip

Yum, thanks for the tip! We'll try that after we try your Indian recommendation Shalimar!

...Is lamb tongue anything like veal tongue? Kevin cooked that up for me on Valentine's Day a few years ago! Just what I wanted, ha! It was good though!

I also went here recently, with some friends. Unfortunately can't say what all I had since we ordered family style... It was good though.
